PERMIERE: Sun 10th September 2023, 18 h, JUNGES SCHAUSPIEL Münsterstraße 446 - Düsseldorf
I'm excited to announce that I've been invited to create music and visuals for a brand new dance and theatre production "Time to Shine" for young people at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus!
On Mon 5th June we will officially start a creative journey around the existential question: what would you do today if you were aware that your life would end tomorrow?
It kinda remind me of some thoughts expressed by Seneca in his masterpiece "De Brevitate Vitae" which I encountered a long time during my school time, such as:
“takes the whole of life to learn how to live, and — what will perhaps make you wonder more — it takes the whole of life to learn how to die.”
Another special aspect of this production: it will be my first work with people with hearing impairments. It will be an inspiring challenge to create a common medial space for the dancers/actors in order to interact artistically on stage. For example I will experiment with sound exciters on stage elements and work a lot with transmedial gestures!
